Inglewood is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Inglewood follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My sister and I ate here for the first time, and everything was absolutely amazing. I grew up eating tea leaf salad and many of these dishes, so I’ve tried quite a few versions over the years, and this is easily my favorite in LA. The tea leaf salad was incredible, and everything we ordered was full of flavor and tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I’m so happy we found this place and can’t wait to come back and try even more of the menu. If you’re familiar with Burmese food or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend Mutiara Food & Market. This is a special place and absolutely worth a visit!

I had some beef mee goreng, and the noodles were soaked in their in-house sauce, which was really good! They even served it with some spicy oil. The place is super clean, and the owner is friendly and helped me out with their menu. I also tried the ground chicken mutabaq, and that was tasty too. The prices are really pocket-friendly.

Stellar. Tea Leaf Salad is a must... and please get the stir-fried kangkong (ong choi/morning glory) or the mustard greens... the lamb curry and desserts were to die for. I loved how hole-in-the-wall mom and pop this was, reminiscent of home cooking served on plastic plates with simple service. I will return.

This was probably our first time trying a Malaysian restaurant. The foods were flavorful, and I had a sense of belonging. Although we are not Malaysian, the foods felt like home. I loved the fried chicken the most, it was very similar to thai fried chicken sold in Bangladesh. The owner or host was a kind and welcoming guy. There is also a small asian grocery inside the restaurant.

We called and came here to try a new cuisine. We were interested in the Burmese cuisine but saw very few options available for a dinner. So we ordered 2 Thai dish. Honestly speaking I had better. It lacked flavor. I gave a 3 start because the portion size was huge compared with pricing and other restaurants. Restaurant is clean. We went to the restroom to wash our hands and the whole walkway was decked with inventory for the kitchen. It did give a weird feeling as if we will knock something down. On our way we saw the kitchen door wide open. Everything seemed to be wiped down and clean. I was confused with who will cook or will they just warm the food up. Their grocery section had different types of spices and condiments. If I lived around I would have tried some. If I am in the area I will of course give this restaurant another try.
